A woman from Germany was crushed to death by her overweight husband after he sat on her during a domestic disturbance.
The 20 stone man sat on the woman’s chest for over two minutes, breaking her ribs in 18 different places. She died less than a month later from her injuries.
The fifty year old man claimed he accidently fell on her but was charged with grevious bodily harm.

A truck in China carrying some 800 cats was stopped by cat lovers on route to a restaurant in Shanghai.
The standoff was organised online and lasted for hours while news of the incident spread across the internet.
Eventually enough money was raised to buy the cats, who are now to be placed in homes after their profiles were posted on the internet.

The man was leading a lecture when the image of nude woman appeared on his computer after he inserted a memory stick. He quickly removed the stick but by that point that damage was done.
Further examination revealed a whole folder of pornography. He quit following pressure from the Ohio House Democratic Leader.
Two men in West Germany had a real head-on collision when they were driving through thick fog.
Their cars were only going at a snails pace, but it was the mens heads that smashed together when they were both leaning out of the window coming from opposite directions.
They suffered severe head injuries but the cars were fine.
A pet store owner from Oregon had to be rescued when a 12 foot Python bit her right hand and coiled round her left arm to throw her to the ground.
A friend kept the snake away from her neck until a policeman arrived who wanted to kill the snake with a knife. The woman refused and he had to pull the snakes jaws apart to free her arm.
It took two more men to uncoil the snake from the woman’s leg. She suffered puncture wounds but was otherwise fine.
A man from Kentucky has been arrested after he tried to pump petrol into an imaginary vehicle.
Police appeared on the scene and quickly detected the scent of marijuana. A search of the man revealed two large bags of marijuana and some ecstacy.
He is currently being held on suspicion of drug trafficking
A woman from Hampshire, England killed herself when her dog died so that they would be re-united in heaven.
Her husband told a coroners court that when the corgi passed away, the woman just gave up and took an overdose at home.
The dog had apparently been ill for some time.
Five students in Florida were arrested when they tried to steal an alligator.
The would be gatornappers confessed that three of them had acted as lookouts while the other two tried to capture the animal.
They were caught when police saw them climb into the alligator pool of a miniature golf course.
A judge in Texas has jailed a lawyer for ninety days for making a lewd gesture and simulating masturbation before a court in March.
The judge claims that during a contempt hearing, the lawyer rolled his eyes at her and then made a gesture from his hip aimed at a prosecutor.
The lawyer tried to defend his behaviour as just a ‘zealous attorney defending a client’ and asked to be jailed for just one day. The judge, however, said it was an honour to uphold the integrity of the judicial system and sentenced him to ninety days in prison.
A hair salon in China has been shut down and fined 500,000 juan after it held clients hostage and charged them insane fees for their haircuts.
Two students went for a trim expecting to pay the advertised 38 juan, but were slapped with a 12,000 juan bill (just over £1000)
The pair were only allowed to leave when they scraped together 9,800 juan, after borrowing from sixteen people.
